"Greer Karas has been mine since the first day I saw her.

I walked away because she deserved better than I could offer, but I always planned to come back and stake my claim when the time was right.

But true to form, Greer wasn't willing to wait. She threw down a challenge, and I’m meeting her head-on.

I’m not walking away this time because sometimes you have to fight dirty for love."

Rating & Review

description "Listen to me. I swear on my life, I would never let anything happen to you. Three years ago, you knew I wasn’t like any guy you’d ever met before. I’m still not like them . As far as I’m concerned, you belong to me, Greer, and there’s no way in hell I’m letting your brother stash you somewhere I can’t get in contact with you . There’s only one person I trust with your safety— me. I will always protect you."

Where Dirty Girl had left me a little disappointed and with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger, Dirty Love , on the other hand definitely made up for it in spades. It has hard not to compare both the book, especially when the second part surpasses the first.

Picking up right from the cliffhanger, the book is a revelation after revelation and more steamier than the first book. The connection and the "mysterious" element which was lacking in Dirty Girl was covered by Meghan March. There is definitely a thicker plot line with a lot of things happening at once but never once did I feel that all the information was leaving me overwhelmed.

I definitely enjoyed the character and relationship development and less focus on the physical relationship of Cav and Greer. Don't misunderstand though, if you think Dirty Girl had lots of sex scenes which were downright hot, rough and dirty, Ms. March definitely packs a punch with the lesser sex scenes by making them more meaningful and poignant between Cav and Greer.

description "Today I’m standing in the same place, staring at the same woman, but my intent is completely different. I’m not leaving without her. She’s mine, and I’ll fight heaven and hell to keep her. The sins of the past may not stay buried where they belong , but I refuse to let them rule our future. No man will ever love her as much as I do."

There were some hints that were dropped in the first book and yes, Ms. March definitely incorporated every single one of them, giving one blow after the other. Who knew a novella could pack so many mysterious and shocking elements?! I definitely enjoyed this book. There was a seamless flow in the plot line and the relationship between Cav and Greer was more clear making me understand them a whole lot better.

My finals thoughts for this enticing novella is that pick it up! If you are in the mood for a quick and easy read which sizzles with passion, love and lust all the while keeping the reader stuck on the book because of all the amazing things going on. This is it!

And how in the world can I forget the epilogue! It was definitely satisfying and equal parts amazing and left me with a big smile on my face.

Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: May 19, 2016

Some universal truths refuse to be ignored.

Peanut butter and jelly are a match made in heaven. Spaghetti and meatballs are best friends forever. And guys like Tyler Knight don’t go for girls like Cam Emerson.

She knew from the second she met him that he didn’t belong on her bookshelf, the six-foot-six ex-tight end with a face so all-American, it could have sold apple pie. So she shelved him next to the supermodels and rock stars and took her place on her own shelf — the one with the flannel-clad, pasty-faced comic book nerds. Most of her boyfriends have existed between the pages of books, but rather than worrying over her own lacking love life, she puts all her energy into playing Cupid, using her job at the book bar, Wasted Words, as her stomping ground.

Tyler Knight always looks on the bright side. His career-ending injury turned into a job as a sports agent. A horrible breakup led him to Cam, his quirky, smart roommate who is far more beautiful than she realizes. She’s made it perfectly clear she’s not interested in him — not like that at least — but if she ever changes her mind, he won’t hesitate. Because he doesn’t see the lines she’s drawn between them, as much as she insists that they’re there. Deep down he knows that despite their differences, they’re a match well made.

*A romantic comedy inspired by Jane Austen’s Emma*

Author Bio

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life: a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, even though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. Her favorite word starts with f and ends with k.

From roots in Houston, to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's sleeping, cleaning, or designing graphics.

Secondary Logo

Once upon a time there was a young girl with her head full of dreams and her heart full of stories. Her parents, though not a unit, always supported her and told her more stories, encouraging her to become what she wanted to be. The problem was, young Sam didn't know what she wanted to be, so after getting her A-levels she started studying Computer Science and Media. After not even one year she realized it wasn't what her heart wanted, and so she stopped, staying home and trying to find her purpose in life. Through some detours she landed an internship and eventually an apprenticeship in a company that sells cell phones. Not a dreamy career, but hey.

Today she's doing an accounting job from nine-to-five, which mainly consists of daydreaming and scribbling notes wherever she can. All through that time little Sam never once lost the stories in her heart, writing a few little of them here and there, writing for and with her best friend, who always told her to take that last step. Only when a certain twin-couple entered her mind, bothering her with ideas and talking to her nonstop did she start to write down their story - getting as far as thinking she could finish it.

Through the help of some author friends, and the encouragement of earlier mentioned best friend, little Sam, now not so little anymore and in her twenty-seventh year, decided to try her luck as an Indie author. She finished the story of the first twin, Jaden, and realized she couldn't ever stop. So, it really is only after five that the real Sam comes out. The one that hungers for love, romance, some blood, a good story, and, at the end of the day, a nice hot cup of Chai Tea Latte.

And if the boys are still talking to her, she'll write happily ever after.

Book Review ― Sway (Landry Family Series #1) by Adriana Locke

"BARRETT LANDRY has it all.
Power, prestige, and plenty of women, the dapper politician’s life is pretty phenomenal. But in the midst of the biggest campaign of his life, he needs to focus. The last thing he can afford is a distraction.

ALISON BAKER is a work-in-progress.
As a single mother to HUXLEY, she’s rebuilding life on her terms. She’s focused on family, faith, and a future for her son that can’t be taken away. Putting her child first means not being careless, no matter what.

A chance encounter forces Barrett and Alison to redefine what they really want out of life. But everything comes at a cost ... and sometimes, even for love, it’s a price too steep to pay."

Rating & Review

description Every part of me is tangled up in this irresistibly handsome politician and I’m afraid there’s no way out. I’m really afraid I might not want a way out.

Yup! I used grapes instead of quote marks... This a way too good of an opportunity to pass up. LOL! But that scene was soooooo H-O-T! *fans myself*

Before, delving about the book I would really like to talk about the author and I really feel this is the right time to talk about this. The thing is the more books an author puts out and the more books we have read of theirs, in this case every one of them, there are only so many ways that a character will be portrayed before the characteristics start overlapping be it the main characters or supporting. But, what I really love about Adriana's writing is that there is yet to be a female lead, or a male lead or a supporting character for that matter, be same in any way.

They all are just so different! The intensity that all of her male leads have for their significant others is vastly different but they are intense nonetheless. Her female characters are so strong they can carry the book on their own without the men coming in!

Now take Sacrifice and Sway as an example. Both the books have a single mother but the story's differ from each other so much! Sacrifice is so much more intense and gut-wrenching than Sway. The relationship, the kids, the writing. Everything! And THAT is one commendable quality!

NOW, yes, I'm finally going to talk about the book.

description What are you doing to me?
Exactly what you thought I was going to do to you. What you were picturing in your mind when you agreed to be mine.

As always Adriana delivers another amazing book. In a nutshell, this a book centred around Alison Baker, who is a mother to an adorable boy Huxley and a playboy politician Barrett Landry. Barrett is used to getting what he wants, whenever he wants and however he wants. Alison on the other hand, was once part of the high society but with an asshole of a husband she loses everything. She now works two jobs and attends college to secure a better future for her son.
Alison and Barrett are on the extreme ends of the pole but one night at a party when these two come face-to-face, they cannot deny the attraction.

If you have read Adriana's previous works you know that she writes some of the strongest and independent female characters and Alison is no exception to this rule. She is tough, brave, selfless, giving, loving and will do anything to protect her son, even if it means overlooking a certain politician's advances.

Now, don't think she is playing hard to get or anything. She is being cautious on about who to trust and whom to fall for and give her heart to. But most importantly she is protecting her son. Her ex-husband did a number on her and Huxley. he put his own "needs" above his family and Ali does not want a repeat of that.

Barrett... Well, he is smooth and will charm your pants off. His character was a little convoluted. Women have come and gone from his life but nobody affected him as much as Ali. As the main lead of the book, Barrett definitely evolved more as a character. His once one track mind was finally opening up and he was learning a lot when it came to handling a woman who wasn't easily charmed by him. As the novel progresses, Barrett's character also progresses and he is more open to compromises and other people's views and feelings.

Huxley... OMG Huxley was such an adorable, smart and strong kid! I would have liked to see more of him and his relationship with Alison but whatever I got I've got to say. This kid is a protector and will not see his mother hurt and will not be afraid to call out on whoever hurt her. The kid just so amazing!

This book is all kinds of sexy [who knew grapes could be so fun?] It will definitely give you tingles, especially all those extra romantic and sexy moments between Alison and Barrett. I also really enjoyed the relationship that Barrett, Alison and Hux shared with each other. There is still a lot for Barrett to learn but he will take everything in stride and come out as a winner like always.

description So you'll be my girl? Even though you once told me I'm the exact person you didn't want to be with?
I thought you once told me you could spot a liar from a mile away.

**4.5 Stars! Series Standalone.**

Book Review ― Dirty Girl (Dirty Girl Duet #1) by Meghan March

"Desperately seeking rich, famous, single guy with a giant cock to make my lying, cheating, should’ve-been-born-dickless ex-boyfriend realize what he’s just lost.
Oh, and I give great head. Just sayin’.

No man in his right mind would answer that ad.
Except thousands did.
My name is Greer Karas, and I should never be allowed near another bottle of booze again. Because when I drink, my friend and I do stupid things. Like take a page out of my older brother Creighton’s playbook and post something completely asinine on the Internet. Waking up with a giant hangover to find my humiliating personal ad has gone viral is not my finest moment.
Cue my look of shock when one of Hollywood’s hottest new bad boys, Cavanaugh Westman, comes knocking at my door and drops his pants to prove that he does indeed have a giant cock.
What he doesn’t have is an explanation for why he disappeared from my life without a word three years ago, only to show up on the big screen two years later, killing bad guys in action flicks.
And now he wants me again.
What the hell do I do now?"

Rating & Review

description She's not the girl who got away; she's the one I walked away from. Life doesn't always give us second chances, but this one is mine and I'm taking it. And her.

Greer Karas is Creighton's sister [ The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy ] and while this book stands very well on its own there are slight references in the story that carry forward from Crey's and it will help clear up the otherwise blind spots. Oh and well because I read all three in one sitting and they are so so so good! I highly recommend Crey and Holly's book!

Moving on to the book, Greer is strong and very independent and quite literally hates anything that will hinder that. Suffering from a heart break after breaking up with her long time boyfriend, Greer drowns herself in alcohol and ends up putting up an advertisement on the internet, which, uh...

Desperately seeking rich, famous, single guy with a giant cock to make my lying, cheating, should’ve-been-born-dickless ex-boyfriend realize what he’s just lost.

Yeeeaaaahhh... I would be mortified too Greer.

description I would lie, cheat, and steal to call this woman my own.

Cavanaugh Westman is Hollywood's hottest new bad boy and the one who got away... Actually, more like walked away from Greer three years ago and messed her up. Now he comes knocking at her door and drops his pants to prove that he does meet the criteria and moves to bang the hell out of her. I mean phew!! That scene was H-O-T!

Now, although the book is off the charts hot and has plenty and I mean PLENTY of hot, rough, dirty filthy sex, there was something that was lacking in this book. With Creighton and Holly I was in hook, line and sinker. I need the pull and push and more sexual tension. The intensity was there between the characters but there was some element missing that would have made it more believable and real.
I needed the heart-to-heart talks, the connection between Cav and Greer that went beyond their need to be physical with each other.

BUT! Keeping all that aside...

THAT CLIFFHANGER!!! I mean... What? How? Since when? Are you shitting me?! I NEED the next book like NOW!

Dirty Girl is sinful, erotic, brazen and oh so dirty. And then Cav is definitely a step forward than Crey in the partaking of dirty, filthy and sexy department. But I still love me some Crey. You guys can keep Cav.

When it comes to my final rating, it is a solid 4 for the smuttiness alone. But when roping in the story I would give it a 3. So in keeping it in between I would give this book a 3.5.
If you are looking for a book that is sizzling with passion and sex that is bound to leave you dirty in the best way possible, then look no further. This is the one!

description Life doesn’t always give us second chances, but this one is mine and I’m taking it. And her.

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout comes a riveting new story about friendship, survival, and finding your voice.

For some people, silence is a weapon.

For Mallory “Mouse” Dodge, it’s a shield.

Growing up, she learned that the best way to survive was to say nothing. And even though it’s been four years since her nightmare ended, she’s beginning to worry that the fear that holds her back will last a lifetime.

Now, after years of homeschooling with loving adoptive parents, Mallory must face a new milestone—spending her senior year at public high school. But of all the terrifying and exhilarating scenarios she’s imagined, there’s one she never dreamed of—that she’d run into Rider Stark, the friend and protector she hasn’t seen since childhood, on her very first day.

It doesn’t take long for Mallory to realize that the connection she shared with Rider never really faded. Yet the deeper their bond grows, the more it becomes apparent that she’s not the only one grappling with lingering scars from the past. And as she watches Rider’s life spiral out of control, Mallory must make a choice between staying silent and speaking out—for the people she loves, the life she wants, and the truths that need to be heard.

The expression on her face said he gave great full frontal, and when he laughed, her pink lips split into a wide smile. Her smile transformed her from pretty to beautiful, but my attention swung away from her as tiny hairs rose all over my body. That laugh…it was deep, rich and somehow familiar. A shiver crept over my shoulders. That laugh…

He was walking backward, and I was rather amazed that he didn’t trip over anything, actually somewhat envious of that fact. And then I realized he was heading toward the last half circle. Toward me. I glanced around. There were only a few seats open, two on my left. The girl was following him. Not just following him. Touching him.

Touching him like she’d done it a lot.

Her slim arm was extended, her hand planted in the center of his stomach, just below his chest. She bit down on her lower lip as her hand drifted farther south. Golden bangles dangling from her wrist got awful close to the worn leather belt. My cheeks heated as the boy stepped out of her reach. There was something playful about his movements, as if this dance was a daily routine for them both.

He turned at the end of the desks, stepping behind the occupied chair, and my gaze tracked up narrow hips, over the stomach the girl had touched, up and up, and then I saw his face.

I stopped breathing.

My brain couldn’t perceive what I was seeing. It did not compute. I stared up at him, really saw him, saw a face that was familiar yet new to me, more mature than I remembered but still achingly beautiful. I knew him. Oh my God, I would know him anywhere, even if it had been four years and the last time I’d seen him, that last night that had been so horrible, had changed my life forever.

It was too surreal.

Now the reason why he’d popped in my head this morning made sense, because I’d seen him, but hadn’t realized it was him.

I couldn’t move, couldn’t get enough air into my lungs and couldn’t believe this was happening. My hands slipped off the desk, falling limply into my lap as he dipped into the seat next to me. His gaze was on the girl who took the seat next to him, and his profile, the strong jaw that had only been hinted at the last time I’d seen him, tilted as his eyes moved over the front of the room, across the wall-length chalkboard. He looked like he had back then, but bigger and with everything more…more defined. From the eyebrows darker than the mix of brown and black hair and thick lashes to the broad cheekbones and the slight scruff covering the curve of his jaw.

Goodness, he’d grown up in the way I’d thought he would when I was twelve and started to really look at him, to see him as a boy.

I couldn’t believe he was here. My heart was trying to claw itself out of my chest as lips—lips fuller that I remembered—tilted up, and a knot formed in my belly as the dimple formed in his right cheek. The only dimple he had. No matching set. Just one. My mind raced back through the years, and I could only think of a handful of times I’d seen him relaxed. Leaning back in the chair that seemed too small for him, he slowly turned his head toward me. Eyes that were brown with tiny flecks of gold met mine.

Eyes I’d never forgotten.

The easy, almost lazy smile I’d never seen on his face before froze. His lips parted and a paleness seeped under his tawny skin. Those eyes widened, the gold flecks seeming to expand. He recognized me; I had changed a lot since then, but still, recognition dawned in his features. He was moving again, leaning forward on his seat toward me. Four words roared out of the past and echoed in my head.

Don’t make a sound.

“Mouse?” he breathed.
